VOLUNTEER WITH CSUK THIS AUTUMN

After a busy summer of events including the skate park at Soul Survivor A, having a stand at Creation Fest, serving refreshments in the surfers area at Boardmasters and concluding with an amazing Jesus Surf Classic. Our involvement at all these events would not have been possible without the amazing volunteers that stepped up and served so well, a big thank you to each of you.

We have built many great relationships in the UK surfing community, which has opened the door to many amazing opportunities for us to serve this community and share our faith in both practical and relational ways. We have more opportunities this Autumn, with all the details below.

JESUS LONGBOARD CLASSIC – POLZEATH, 13 – 14 OCTOBER
After a very special 10th anniversary Jesus Longboard Classic we are looking forward to the next running of the JLC and serving the UK longboard community. There are many roles to cover from judging, tabulating and time keeping to welcoming competitors and helping to set up. We will once again be partnering with the Tubestation which will be the base for the contest. The contest is also being supported by Finisterre, Nineplus, Bird Sunglasses, Old Guys Rule and Era Adventures.

If you are able to serve at the Jesus Longboard Classic please contact David Renyard via davidjrenyard@hotmail.co.uk

UK PRO SURF TOUR – WELSH PRO, 13 – 14 OCTOBER
We have committed to serving and supporting the UK Pro Surf Tour this year and we will be looking for a team to support the Welsh Pro being held in Porthcawl. We will likely be serving refreshments to the staff and surfers as well as supporting the running of the contest.

If you are able to serve at this contest please contact Chris Clark via chris@dailybreadsurfboards.co.uk

UK PRO SURF TOUR – THURSO SURF CHALLENGE, 17 – 19 OCTOBER
We have committed to serving and supporting the UK Pro Surf Tour this year and we will be looking for a team to support the surf contest in Thurso. It is a big commitment to serve the Tour in Thurso but in doing so has been massively appreciated by the surfers and staff on the Pro Tour.

We will be serving hot food and drinks to the surfers and staff in the most remote contest in the UK, so be prepared to adapt and for a challenge! Thurso and the North Coast of Scotland is an amazing place and this is a challenging but rewarding event to serve at.

If you are able to serve at this contest contact Phil Williams via phil@christiansurfers.co.uk
