National Gathering 2023

Booking is now open for this year’s CSUK National Gathering which will be held in Polzeath from 23-25 June, in partnership once again with our great friends at Tubestation. 

It’s a great place to find out more about the mission of Christian Surfers in the UK and globally, and to meet with other members of the Christian Surfers family from around the country.

Ben Lillie, this year’s keynote speaker and CSUK trustee, writes: 

‘Roy Harley (CSI top dog and general wave shredder) recently shared a vision for the growth of Christian Surfers around the world. He spoke of 1000 chapters in 100 countries. These ‘chapters’, (or CS local groups) are the essential space where we share life together and welcome Jesus to dwell amongst us. These missional communities are the lifeblood and backbone of why CS exists. Our CSUK scene is some 32 years old – that’s younger than Phil -but older than many! Over these 30+ years our groups have grown, changed, shrunk, moved, stopped, started…but always been both blessed and a blessing to others. 

This National Gathering weekend is all about grasping afresh what we hope, long, and pray for in our local CS groups and for CSUK as a missional community. How might we share the unrivalled love of Jesus in fresh and meaningful ways? How can we serve each other through mind, body & spirit?What place does Ocean Ecology and Salty Theology have in our shared mission? 

This weekend is a time to come, rest, laugh, pray, eat, think, surf*, serve, and seek refreshing from our incredible creator, Father God. We would love you to join us for the weekend, but if that is not possible then come for a day, but do come – we can’t wait to see you and share a little life together -Yew!!

We will be camping all together, so bring a tent or camper van. The cost of camping is included in the standard gathering fee and CSUK will make the booking on your behalf.

Electric hook up is available at an additional cost 

If you wish to make your own accommodation arrangements, you can buy a reduced price non-residential ticket

EXTRA NIGHTS

There is an option to stay Thursday night and/or Sunday night at Valley Caravan Park at an additional cost. There will be an informal gathering for those who stay on Sunday night. Again, CSUK will make the booking on your behalf.

CHILDREN

We will be providing some children’s activities at certain points during the weekend and more details will follow.
