St George's House, Georgeham, N Devon
November 7th – 9th 2025
For many of us the busyness and demands of day to day life can fill our plates to the brim. This weekend offers the perfect tonic and a chance to step back, rest and connect with other like-minded women. You don’t have to be a gnarly surfer; everyone is welcome no matter where you’re at on your faith or surfing journeys.
The weekend is a blend of surfing, silent disco boogies, cake eating and wine drinking; chatting about life and our faith. We’ll spend as much time outside as we can with plenty of flexibility in the schedule to create an easygoing weekend that everyone can move through at their own pace.
We’ll be staying at St George’s House in Georgeham, North Devon, a Christian Outdoor Activity Centre. All accommodation and tasty food (which is always fantastic) is included in the price for the weekend. Please note that we will be staying in dormitory style rooms. Please let us know if there is someone you’d like to share a room with.
We’d love to welcome and meet you first time or the 30th time. There are 35 spaces available and additional surf lessons if you’d like one.
Ticket includes:
✨ Accommodation
✨ 2x breakfasts
✨ 2x dinner
✨ 2x lunch
✨ Silent Disco
✨ A rad time with rad women
SURF LESSONS & HIRE
All equipment including wetsuits, boots, gloves and surfboard is included in the lesson price. If you would like to join the social surf or surf any time outside of the lessons, and don’t have your own equipment, please can you pre-arrange hire with Nick Thorn. His surf school is based at Putsborough beach where we will be surfing. He has offered us a discount rate of hire £20 per person for 2 hours. Please reach out to him directly as soon as possible and say that you are part of this event and he’ll apply the discount.
SAUNA
We are in the process of organising a beach-side sauna session for the Saturday afternoon. Details are still tbc but this will be an extra cost of £16. Please indicate on the form whether or not you’d be keen for this 🙂
HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE
Historically, this is a safe and fun weekend where we just let loose and totally be ourselves. We 100% encourage openness as we embrace each other and play in the sea!
If at any point over the weekend you feel the need to share with someone, we will highlight our designated safeguarding officer in the welcome on Friday night.
If you are on the surf lesson you will be covered by St George’s house and all on-site activity over the weekend is covered via CSUK insurance. If you wish to surf outside of the lesson or undertake any activities, we strongly recommend that you take out your own insurance policy if you do not already have one. We can recommend Surfing England as a provider of surf-based cover.
SNACKIES & WINE
Baked goods are always a highlight of the weekend! There is no pressure to go all Bake-Off, but feel free to whip up a little something to share or nip to tesco for a carrot cake. Please write dietary notes on a piece of paper just so we don’t poison each other… If you’re a wine gal, do bring a bottle or any drink you fancy to sip over our evening meals. All meals are provided but do bring some snacks to fuel those 6am surfs 🤙
CANCELLATION POLICY
We can offer a fuss-free full refund up until 7 days before the event. After this time we can provide a 30% refund unless there is someone on the waitlist who is able to cover the entire cost of your ticket.
